Yes! You actually hike with a llama!
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind guided adventure in the Heber Valley, with an approximately 3-hour llama experience! This includes a 3-mile hike on a scenic trail in Wasatch Mountain State Park
Guests are paired with their own friendly, well-trained llama and an experienced guide. Learn about these fascinating animals while taking in the beautiful mountain views!

The Experience
Our llamas are part of the adventure, and we want every guest to have a meaningful connection with their trail partner. For the best experience, we recommend 1 llama per guest so everyone has the opportunity to lead, interact with, and enjoy their own llama. For larger groups, we can accommodate approximately one llama for every 2–3 guests while still providing a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
Group Size Breakdown
$100.00 per llama
2 - 4 guests - 2 llama minimum
4 - 7 guests - 3 llama minimum
8 -10 guests - 4 llama minimum
A $50 reservation deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits are refundable for cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled hike.
Groups larger than 10 guests are welcome! Additional guests may join as trail companions for $25/person, or your group can add additional llamas to make the experience even more interactive.
Before hitting the trail, we’ll teach you how to interact with your llama, how to safely lead them, and help you get comfortable with your new hiking companion.
We’ll then head out on a scenic 3-mile trail through the state park, taking time to enjoy the views, share a trail break at the top, and make memories along the way before hiking back together.
Trail snacks and cold drinks are provided. We’ll have coolers packed for your adventure, and you are welcome to bring your own favorite foods or picnic items to enjoy during your break.
Morning and evening hikes are available.
