Hunting and Backpacking Rental
Hike further, hunt harder, stay out longer is a motto we like to use. We love getting in the backcountry and llamas make that even more possible. Llamas are powerful, mountain-built pack animals designed for the demands of the backcountry. They can carry 60–80 pounds over long distances, taking the strain off your back and extending your range. Their soft, padded feet minimize impact on trails.
Llamas are efficient, low-maintenance, and built for endurance. They are a smart, dependable choice for serious hunting and backpacking trips
Rates
Llama Rentals (For Individual Use)
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all renters are required to complete a one time 90-minute in-person llama handling course.
This course is designed to help you feel confident and prepared when taking llamas into the backcountry, and to help us get to know you.
Rental rates are per llama and include all necessary gear: saddles, halters and lead ropes, panniers, buckets, stake and mallet, a llama first aid kit, and feed.
A minimum of two llamas is required per rental.
